Black Saffire

For the Connoisseur of Great Taste
These hand-made tiny bean-shaped chocolates are packed with flavour and are probably the most unique and expensive chocolates in Norwich.
The Black Saffire Range:
Original Black Saffire:
This 73% dark chocolate has been specially created by Saffire's Artisan Chocolatier who had developed this unique flavour by skillfully blending single origin chocolates from around the world.
This is a dark, fruity and sultry chocolate for the connoisseur of great ingredients and taste. The sharpness of the first taste leads on to a rich fruity taste of berries and spices and then into a long rich after taste.
Ugandan Black Saffire:
This 80% dark chocolate, made from beans harvested in Uganda, has a supremely rich cocao taste with an exceptionally long 'after taste'. As far as taste is concerned, little goes a long way!
Venesualan Black Saffire:
At 73% dark chocolate this has the same cocoa content as our Original Black Saffire but that is where the similarity ends. This chocolate from Venesuala has a distinctive flavour of roasted nuts and caramel.
San Domingo Black Saffire:
The tropical climate of San Domingo influences the intense and full-bodied flavours of this 68% dark chocolate, they are dominanted with herbal and fruity tones and a distinctive after taste of rich fruit.
Javanese Black Saffire:
This 65% dark chocolate is no lightweight. It has a full bodied cocao taste of bitter fruit and a long after taste that is usually associated with chocolate that has a higher cocoa content.
Peruvian Black Saffire:
If you have not tried dark chocolate with a higher cocoa content then this could be the one to start with. This 64% dark chocolate has a mildly pleasant bitterness, a smooth mouth feel and a lingering and full flavoured after taste without the bitterness of chocolate with a higher cocoa content.
Black Saffire is sold only in tins. Each tin contains at least 50 grams
of tiny bean-shaped Black Saffire chocolates of a single variety.
